Recurring donations play a crucial role in the stability and effectiveness of any non-profit like ours. Consistent donations provide a steady and predictable source of income, allowing us to plan ahead and implement long-term initiatives to better serve women and families in the Enid community.
This year, our Board of Directors has set a goal to see 50% of our annual budget supported by monthly donations.

Our Mission
Journey Women’s Center (JWC) exists to come alongside women and share the love and truth of Christ by providing medical testing, compassionate counseling, and mentoring for those whose journey has taken a detour due to sexual activity or an unplanned pregnancy.
We believe that life begins at conception, and we are committed to upholding the sanctity of all human life. We also recognize that an unplanned pregnancy is a complex issue that must be met with compassion and a loving approach.

Our Story
In 2016, the Cherokee Strip Baptist Association of pastors prayerfully purchased a home near Northern Oklahoma College with the dream of starting a Pregnancy Resource Center. They evaluated what services were available to the community, saw the need, and stepped out in faith.
In 2017, JWC’s foundation was laid as Articles and By-Laws were written, the Board of Directors was formed, and Dr. Christopher Lee accepted the role of Medical Director. In early 2018, an Executive Director and Nurse Manager were hired and a Sonographer generously gave her time to ensure the highest of medical care.
On April 9th, 2018, Journey House (now Journey Women’s Center) opened its doors for the first time. Within the span of that first year, thirty-five clients were served, loved, and offered hope.

Helping women be
empowered & informed
Motivated by love
“When we came we already had an appointment set with Planned Parenthood to talk through termination options. When we heard our baby’s little heartbeat for the very first time, we knew that we could never go through with our plans. We thank God everyday that we came to Journey Women’s Center. Hearing that little flutter changed our lives! Our son is our whole world and we love him so much.”
The heart starts beating at 5 weeks and 1 day gestation. This married couple was overwhelmed and felt unprepared to start a family. Their baby measured 5 weeks and 5 days. God helped us capture his heartbeat, something incredibly difficult to do at this early stage of pregnancy. We praise Him for sending this young couple to our Center and for the miracle that happened that day.

My stomach turns at the idea of what would have happened if God did not guide us to JWC. I thank God every day that we came…because hearing that little flutter changed our lives! Our son is our whole world and we love him so much.”
